The first grade put on a great program this year. It was all about spring. Each of the first grade classes had caterpillars that they got to watch grow and turn into butterflies. They then got to release their butterflies at the program. They sang songs, had speaking parts, and a few of the girls did a cute umbrella dance under black lights and some of the other kids did jump rope and hand games under the black light. Ryker got to do jump rope. The kids had all colored butterflies and during one of the songs they got to give them out to the audience. It was great!
